BigB Blog - Day 309 - Another excuse

It seems almost funny now. BigB is now talking to the Folks at BidAdda (Ambani & Co) to remove the ad. They could not have put the ad there without Amitabh knowing about it in the first place. He edits his blog day in and day out but to change the photo he need help from Server. I am glad Google, doesn't force me to put an ad in my blog...

This blog for the EF thing is nothing more than a marketing gimmick for the BigAdda... and we are seeing the first installment of it. But I guess who are we to tell, unless we sing like a canary in his favor... we'll be ridiculed as either part of Big Media to diminish what he represents or someone jealous...

BigB Blog - Day 308 - My thoughts

I have been an avid follower of Amitabh Bachchan's blog. But of late I am feeling very offended by the way his blog is turning out. It used to be a medium where he used to reach out to his so called Extended Family (EF). But these days his posts and posts from many member of his EF are becoming more negative. It has become a place to pour anger and score personnel vendetta, name calling, cheap publicity, advertising platform for his sponsors, etc.

Why do his fan has to endure the Reid and Taylor advertisement. He himself has mentioned that he do not like few things like the advertisement, or for that sake, name of his blog BigB. But it is all in his hand. He doesn't have to stick the ads around and can change the name of his blog. His explanation all seems very hollow.

The way he is fighting in the blogosphere defending himself against the media, putting up the media cutouts, explaining the remarks he has or has not made about SDM or comparing the D6 reviewers being 180 degree opposite, feeling happy about his family getting 5 Pamda and not acknowledging the success of another film which brought laurels to a lot of people in India, is all unbecoming of a person of his caliber. I have seen other celebrity blogs, but fortunately none of them are as negative as this BigBlog.

Your opinions are welcome.
